Maharashtra: PM Modi expresses grief over Nanded accident, announces ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the death of seven women laborers in an accident in Nanded district. He announced an ex-gratia of 2 lakh rupees for the next of kin of each deceased and 50 thousand rupees for each injured.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also expressed grief over the incident and announced financial aid of 5 lakh rupees for the families of the deceased. The accident occurred this morning when a tractor carrying farm laborers plunged into a well. Seven women lost their lives in the incident. Two women and one man were rescued.
