Madison Key of the US wins Women’s singles Australian Open title

In the Australian Open Tennis women’s singles final,  Madison Keys won her maiden Grand Slam title by defeating defending champion Aryna Sabalenka in a thrilling match that ended 6-3, 2-6, 7-5. Keys’ victory denied Sabalenka a historic third consecutive Australian Open title.

In the Men’s Singles title clash, defending champion and top seed Jannik Sinner of Italy will take on second seed German Alexander Zverev tomorrow. 

In the Women’s Doubles final, the third-seed pair of Latvia’s Jeļena Ostapenko and Hsieh Su-wei of Taiwan will take on top-seeded duo Taylor Townsend of US and Czech player Kateřina Siniaková tomorrow.
