Lighthouse complex in Agartala to receive Rs. 14.96 crore funding

Agartala, May 2 (FD) The central Government has sanctioned Rs. 14.96 for completion of the ‘Lighthouse’ complex for residence at the outskirts of Agartala.

Sources said this was possible for the utmost trying of the Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, who during his recent visit to Delhi had convinced the ministry of the Finance and Urban development for sanction of the money.

A statement issued by the TUDA said that this important housing complex for the weaker sections of the people was launched under Prime Ministers Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme.

TUDA said they faced bottlenecks created by the Covid 19 pandemic and last year’s devastating floods the works for the project was impeded, but the government will now be active for completion of the project. FD JK
