Left Parties return to power in Tripura after 2023 polls: CMIP leader

Agartala, Jan 03 (FD) Left parties will return to power in Tripura after the 2023 assembly election, which is scheduled to be held in February next, CPIM all-India youth leader Meenakshi Mukherjee said on Tuesday.
Addressing a youth rally organized by the party members of Dharmanagar unit, Mukherjee said, “BJP destroys CPI-M party offices since they were came into power in 2018 in the state, CPI-M will return to the power after 2023 election but will not destroy any of their offices as there will not find any one to sit.”
She came down heavily on the BJP and criticized the party for not fulfilling its poll promises which also includes jobs through miss calls.
Mukherjee said “BJP is using the police, law enforcement and media from the background like a person manipulating puppets during a puppet dance.”
“Tripura youths are fighting for jobs, they will continue fighting for that,” she added.
Criticizing BJP's Rath Yatra, she said during left regime, no youth of the state had to walk in any Rath Yatra for a job.
