Land Acquisition of Proxima Rubbers Pvt. Ltd. in Bodhjungnagar Industrial Complex

Agartala, Feb 20 (FD) Tripura Industrial Development Corporation Limited has taken over the land and fixed assets of an industrial unit, Proxima Rubbers Pvt. Ltd., located at Bodhjungnagar Industrial Complex on February 20, 2025. The unit had been non-functional for a long time, and its assets were in a dilapidated condition, abandoned by the owner.

As a result, valuable land in Bodhjungnagar remained unutilized, preventing the corporation from allocating it to new industrial units. Additionally, an outstanding rent of ₹21,61,984 was due from the unit, and the owner failed to respond to repeated demand notices from the Corporation for payment.

Consequently, the Corporation's management decided to take over the land along with any existing structures under the Tripura Public Premises Act. Through this acquisition, the Corporation has recovered approximately 3.00 acres of land, which will now be allotted to new industrial units following due procedures. This initiative aims to promote investment and generate employment opportunities.

The OSD of Tripura Industrial Development Corporation Limited has informed the public about this development through a press release today.
