Krishna Janmashtami celebrated in Tripura

Agartala, Aug 19: Along with the other parts of the country the Lord Krishna's Janmashtami festival was celebrated in the state with pomp and gaiety on Friday.

Like every other years the main attraction of the festival was at Krishna Mandir in the capital city.

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha inaugurated the Janmashtami festival organized by 'Tripura Yadav Mahasabha' at Shri Krishna temple.

Dr Saha prayed to Lord Krishna for all the people of the state.

In a social media post Dr Saha wrote, “I have a spiritual connection with the festival of Janmashtami for a long time.

Today I participated in the inauguration of the Janmashtami festival at Shri Krishna Temple under the initiative of 'Tripura Yadav Mahasabha' and prayed to Lord Krishna for all the people of the state.”
