Kadamtala victim’s wife demands investigation

Agartala, Dec 7 (FD) One Swapna Begum, wife of a victim of the recent communal riot at Kadamtala in North Tripura district has demanded an inquiry into the incident about how her husband had died.
She along with CPI-ML workers have submitted a memorandum to the Chairman of the Tripura Human Rights Commission (THRC) demanding a clear investigation into the incident of opening fire as two versions have come out.
Submitting her deputation, she told reporters that the then S.P, Bhanupada Chakraborty told her that her husband was killed by the bullets of the miscreants, but she would be given a compensation of Rs. 4 lakh and a suitable job.
But, eyewitnesses told her that her husband was killed by the bullets of the Tripura police.
Now, it needs to be clear that who had opened fire at her husband; she said adding that she also needed a government job for subsisting of her family. FD JK
