Joint Raid in Agartala Uncovers Suspected International Crime Links

Agartala, Apr 25 (FD) A joint team of the security forces conducted a raid to unearth organised international crime today.
A combined team of Tripura Police’s Crime Branch, central intelligence agencies, and personnel from West Bengal Police conducted a raid at a private residence in the city. While officials have not yet released detailed information, sources familiar with the operation said that three mobile SIM boxes and 64 active SIM cards were recovered during the raid.
Preliminary inputs suggest that the individuals linked to the seized equipment may be associated with an international crime or terror network. However, no official confirmation regarding arrests or identities has been made public so far.
Sources indicated that the operation was part of a broader intelligence-driven effort, with inputs reportedly originating from West Bengal, prompting the involvement of West Bengal Police in the raid.
