Job fair at Agartala under DDU-GKY, 185 youths get appointment letter

Agartala, Aug 31 (FD) With the initiative of Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission a Job fair for the youth trained under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gramin Koushal Yojana (DDU-GKY) was held at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan here on Tuesday.
A total of 185 youths of the state received appointment letters during the interview taken by 10 private agencies, an official report said.
Among them 27 candidates have been appointed in the state only and the rest 158 have been appointed outside the state.
Dr. Sandeep Rathore, secretary of rural development department inaugurated the job fair.
Inaugurating the job fair the secretary said, the central government has launched this scheme to facilitate training of rural youths for their job viability. He urged those who got appointment today to carry out their job responsibility sincerely and wished them success in their service.
District Magistrate of West Tripura, Debapriya Bardhan attended the programme as a special guest, also wished success to the candidates who got appointments.
Chief executive officer of Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission Dr. Vishal Kumar delivered the welcome address while vote of thanks was given by additional CEO of TRLM Subhash Chandra Saha.
Director of Skill Development department Sanjoy Chakraborty also spoke on the occasion as special guest.
