Jiten rebuffs Rajib on central budget and says people would not forgive them

Agartala, Feb 18 (FD) The leader of the opposition, Jitendra Chowdhury has rebuffed the allegation of the state BJP President, Rajib Bhattacharjee who commented that the opposition leaders have no right to comment on the central budget as they have no knowledge of what the budget is.

“The budget follows the pattern of anti-people, anti-poor and corporate friendly. For the last 11 years we have witnessed that BJP was giving us such budgets. We have made our arguments how the budget has created frustration among the youths, there is no investment proposal and the allocations for the MGNREGA  was reduced  and there was no increase in health and education”, Chowdhury told reporters.

Even, there was no new plan for depressed people like SC, ST, OBC and minorities, her added.

Chowdhury said the Left forces have become a matter headache for the ruling BJP and Tipra Motha as the people in good numbers were joining the lefts because they could understand that the left parties were doing good works for people.

“They might utter delirious, but the people of the state will not forgive them”, he said. FD JK
