Jiten opposes terrorist attacks on tourists in Kashmir

Agartala, April 24 (FD) The leader of the opposition, Jitendra Chowdhury expressed his concerns about the national security and stability of the country after the recent attack on the tourists at Pahalgam in Jammu & Kashmir.

“It is a major challenge to the country’s safety and security. After a temporary lull we are witnessing the rise of terrorism in Jammu & Kashmir. I condemned the incident of attack on innocent tourists”, Chowdhury told reporters.

He also laid stress on finding out the root cause of terrorism and wipe out it and fostering unity and peace among the civilians.

He also requested the central government to take appropriate actions so that people can live peacefully in the valley. FD JK
