Janajati Morcha leader attacked by Tipra Motha

Agartala, April 10 (FD) A senior leader of the Janajati Morcha, the tribal wing of the ruling BJP and his son were attacked at their house in Simna areas allegedly by the rowdy forces belonging to the Tipra Motha party.

A group of storm troopers allegedly belonging to Tipra Motha attacked the house of one Arun Debbarma (48) and started assaulting him. When his son, Barun (22) came to resist the attackers they also attacked him.

When Arun Debbarma in injured condition was taken to Simna Primary Health Centre was referred to G.B. Pant hospital here for better treatment.

Sources from Simna said, the Janajati Morcha had organised a political meeting at Rubri Twisa ADC village in Simna, which was presided over by the Benod Debbarma and witnessed gathering of quiet good numbers of people, who were earlier the members Tipra Motha.

Sources in BJP alleged that the Tipra Motha was trying to capture the entire 587 village Committees, the elections for which are drawing near. FD JK
