IPL T20: Hosts Gujarat Titans defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 38 runs in Ahmedabad

In IPL Cricket, Hosts Gujarat Titans defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 38 runs in Ahmedabad last night. Put in to bat, Gujarat Titans posted 224 runs for the loss of six wickets in stipulated 20 overs.

Gujarat’s skipper Shubman Gill scored dazzling 76 off 38 balls, while Jos Buttler made 64 off 37 balls. For Hyderabad, Jaidev Unadkat picked up three wickets, while Pat Cummins and Zeeshan Ansari each bagged one wicket. In reply, Sunrisers Hyderabad failed to chase the target of 225 runs, being restricted to 186 for 6 in alotted 20 overs.

For Hyderabad, Abhishek Sharma scored 74 runs off just 41 balls. Prasidh Krishna from Gujarat Titans picked up 2 wickets by giving away only 19 runs and was adjudged player of the match.

Today, hosts Royal Challengers Bengaluru will take on Chennai Super Kings at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The match is scheduled to begin at 07:30 PM.
