IOA begins talks with Future Host Commission for 2036 Olympics bid

Indian Olympic Association has initiated the dialogue process with the Future Host Commission (FHC) about hosting the 2036 Olympics in India. This was informed by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya in Rajya Sabha in a written reply.

FHC is the dedicated body of the International Olympic Committee dealing with the host selection process. He added augmentation of sports infrastructure for organizing sports events including multi-sports events in the country is an ongoing process.
