Initiative to develop Patichhari ADC Village as Chief Minister Model Village

Agartala, Jul 10 (FD) Tripura government is mulling to convert the remote Karbook village into the Chief Minister Model Village by making all-round development, officials said today.
A significant discussion was recently held for the development of Patichhari ADC Village in Karbook Block as part of the Chief Minister Model Village initiative. The meeting saw participation from key officials including MLA Sanjay Manik Tripura, Karbook BDO Dibyendu Das, Sub-Divisional Medical Officer Dhanmani Tripura, Social Worker Mohan Kumar Tripura, and various department officials. Krishnadhan Tripura, Principal of Patichhari High School, presided over the discussion.
MLA Sanjay Manik Tripura emphasized the comprehensive development plans for Patichhari ADC Village, focusing on improving communication systems, access to drinking water, sanitary facilities, quality education, and health services. He stressed the importance of ensuring that government projects and services reach the actual beneficiaries, aiming to make the village residents self-reliant.
BDO Dibyendu Das presented various aspects of the Model Village project through a PowerPoint presentation. He highlighted that, under the project, sanitary toilets for boys and girls have been constructed in six Anganwadi centers, and drinking water filters have been installed in 14 Anganwadi centers. Additionally, an Anganwadi center is being constructed at Jagannath tilla. Plans have also been made to make four village roads accessible in all seasons. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural Scheme, 523 families in the village have received approval for the construction of pucca houses. FD JK
