An infringement of rights motion, against Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, has been sent to the Privilege Committee for enquiry. Three ministers of Trinamool Congress have brought the resolution criticising the conduct of Suvendu Adhikari.
Speaker Biman Bandopadhyay has warned Suvendu Adhikari that the business of the house can not be discussed and criticised outside. Meanwhile, BJP MLAs are in a sit-in protest outside the Assembly against the suspension of 4 MLAs including the leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari yesterday. On the other hand, Suvendu Adhikari said this is the fifth time a notice under infringement of rights has been brought against him.
