Indian Shuttlers begin campaign at Korea Masters 2026 in South Korea

India’s Tushar Suveer has been knocked out today of the Korea Masters 2026 after losing his qualifying match against Japan’s Shogo Ogawa. The Korea Masters 2026, a BWF Super 300 tournament, begin today in Asan, South Korea. The tournament will run until 9th of this month.

In women’s doubles, Priya Konjengbam and Shruti Mishra and in men’s doubles, Krishna Prasad Garaga and Pruthvi Krishnamurthy Roy will be in action today.

With PV Sindhu and Unnati Hooda taking a break, Tanvi will lead India’s women’s singles campaign. India’s top men’s doubles pair, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, will also miss the tournament as Satwik continues to recover from a shoulder injury. 

The Korea Masters will serve as an important event for Indian players to gain confidence and ranking points ahead of the 30th edition of the BWF World Championships, which will be held in New Delhi later this month.
