The wait for the Paris Olympic Games is over now and countrymen are hoping for medals from Indian players. In the Indian hockey team, ten players belong to Punjab. Therefore, the people of Punjab, especially Hockey lovers, have special expectations from this team. 

One such Olympian, Gundeep Kumar, giving his best wishes to the team, said, “Jalandhar is known as the nursery of hockey because Sansarpur, Khusropur and Mithapur adjoining Jalandhar city have produced many Olympians who have brought glory to the nation at the international level. 

Similarly, goalkeeper Olympian Teja Singh is hopeful that the team will definitely convert the bronze medal of the last Olympics into gold this time.

It should be expected that Indian players will live up to the expectations of the countrymen by performing brilliantly in every field.
