Indian Armed Forces Gear Up for Grand Republic Day Parade: Focus on 'Viksit Bharat,' 'Nari Shakti,' and 'Aatmanirbharta' with French President Macron as Chief Guest

All preparations have been made by the Armed forces to participate in this year Republic Day parade. Contingent of Indian Army, Navy and Indian Air Force are fully geared to march on the Kartvyapath on 26th of this month.
According to the Indian Army, this year, Republic Day parade will be focused on Viksit Bharat, Nari Shakti and Aatmanirbharta. French President Emmanuel Macron will be the Chief Guest at this year’s Republic Day Parade. French contingent with a 95 members will participate in the Republic Day parade this year. Exclusively speaking to Akashwani News, Captain Louis who will be leading the French contingent, said that it is a great opportunity for France to respond to India's invitation and an honour to pay their tributes after India's participation at France's Bastille Day celebration last year.
With the themes of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Bharat - Loktantra ki Matruka’, the 75th Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path on 26th of this month will be women-centric. Exclusively speaking to Akashwani News, Lieutenant Sumedha Tiwari, who will be leading the Assam Contingent, said that her unit has been preparing for months for the Republic Day.
Exclusively speaking to Akashwani News, Lieutenant Priyanka Sevda, who will be leading the Pinaka System, said that this will be the first batch to lead the Artillery regiment as women officers.
Akashwani correspondent reports that Republic Day parade will start from 10:30 AM on 26th January from Vijay Chowk to Kartavya Path and the parade commander would be Delhi Area Commander Lt General Bhavnish Kumar. Women marching contingents will form the major chunk of the parade. First time, an all-women tri-services contingent will take part in the parade. Indian Army will showcase indigenous artillery, vehicles and missile systems. According to the Indian Army, T90 bhishma tank, Nag Missile System, Drone Jammer will be the part of the Republic Day parade. A total of 51 Indian Air Force aircrafts including 29 fighter aircrafts, eight transport aircrafts, 13 helicopters and one heritage aircraft will participate in Republic Day flypast this year. According to the Indian Air Force, Rafale, Sukhoi -30, Jaguar, C-130, and Tejas aircraft will participate in the flypast in different formations. Most of the tableaux of States and Union Territories, Central Ministries and Organisations will showcase the country’s rich cultural diversity, unity and progress.
