India to face Pakistan in Men’s Hockey Junior Asia Cup final

In hockey, India will face Pakistan in the final of the Men’s Hockey Junior Asia Cup in Muscat, Oman, this evening. The match is set to begin at 8:30 PM IST.

Defending champions India, unbeaten in the tournament, are aiming for their fifth title and a third consecutive victory in this event. India secured their spot in the final by defeating Malaysia 3-1 in the semifinals, with goals from Dilraj Singh, Rohit, and Sharda Nand Tiwari. Pakistan advanced to the final after a 4-2 win over Japan.

This match is a repeat of the last edition final, where India beat Pakistan 2-1 to win the gold. The Junior Asia Cup also serves as a qualifier for the Men’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup, set to be held next year in India.
