India shined at the Grammys on Sunday with musicians Shankar Mahadevan and Zakir Hussains fusion band Shakti winning the Best Global Music Album.
They won the acclaimed international award for their latest album This Moment.
The official Grammys X page shared an image where Mahadevan and another band member Ganesh Rajagopalan accepted the award on stage.

The album was released on June 30 last year.
Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain bags three Grammy awards
Indian tabla icon Zakir Hussain won three awards at the Grammys.
He won the award in Best Global Music Performance, Best Contemporary Instrumental Album and Best Global Music categories.
Two of the awards were won by flautist Rakesh Chaurasia with Hussain.
Los Angeles hosted the 66th Grammy Awards 2024.

Ricky Kej on Monday appreciated Indias glory at the Grammys after singer Shankar Mahadevan and Tabla maestro Zakir Hussains band Shakti clinched the prestigious title in the Global Music Album category.
