Inauguration of the 7th North Eastern Youth Festival on Feb 26

Agartala, Feb 25 (FD) The Seventh North Eastern Youth Festival will be inaugurated for four days on February 26. This 4-day youth festival will continue until February 29. The festival will be inaugurated on February 26 at 3 p.m. at the Purbasha Urban Hat premises in Agartala.
Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Tinku Roy announced this news in a press conference at the Shiksha Bhavan conference hall today. He said in the press conference that a colourful rally will be organised at 2 p.m. before the inauguration. This rally will start from Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan premises and end at Purbasha's Urban Hat premises after circumambulating various routes in Agartala. 845 delegates from eight North Eastern states, including Tripura, will participate in this youth festival. Among them were 246 young men and 176 young women.
At the 7th North Eastern Youth Festival, they will participate in competitions in yoga, folk dance, martial arts, painting, photography, musical instruments, folk music, etc. These 4-day events will be held at Agartala Purbasha Urban Hat Premises, Nazrul Kalakshetra, Town Hall, and Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhawan. The names of the participants will be registered at the festival on February 25 at the Bhagat Singh Youth Home in Agartala.
In the press conference, the sports minister said that the closing and prize distribution ceremony of this youth festival will be organised at Swami Vivekananda Maidan on February 29 at 4 p.m.
