Inauguration of State-of-the-Art 33 kV Power Sub-Station in Golaghati

Agartala, Oct 10 (FD) In a momentous step towards bolstering the region's power infrastructure, Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath formally inaugurated a state-of-the-art 33 kV power sub-station in Golaghati, a project realized at a cost of Rs 10 crore 80 lakhs.
Minister Nath applauded the project's commencement in February 2021 and its timely completion, made possible through the concerted efforts of the Power Grid Corporation with support from the Government of India and the World Bank. This collaborative endeavour underlines the shared commitment to alleviating the long-standing electricity shortages experienced by diverse communities inhabiting the region.
The inauguration of this sub-station is anticipated to usher in a new era of uninterrupted power supply to the local populace, marking a significant improvement in electricity service delivery.
