Agartala, Feb 8 (FD) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said that the speed of development of the double engine government in Tripura has reached the speed of bullet train and people should welcome it.
Addressing a public rally at Suryamaninagar here he said that the speed of the double engine government was felt during the COVID19 pandemic when people were getting free vaccine, free treatments, free food and diets.
Had the Congress or the CPI (M) government was there people were deprived of free food, vaccine or treatment, he added.
Yogi said, “We want development of all and honour of tradition and faith. We do not believe in violence and deadly against any kind of terrorism”
He said to pay respect to the tradition, glory and development the newly built Agartala airport was dedicated in the name of Maharaj Bir Bikram, the last king of Tripura.
Yogi claimed that Tripura has created a model of ‘good governance and protection of people’ under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and people of the state would have to carry forward the tradition.
He said during the regime BJP in last five years three lakh families have got dwellings under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana (PMAY), two lakh seventy thousand people were benefitted under Ujjala yojana, 2.5 lakh peasants have received Krishak Sanman Nidhi, more than 80 percent people have got pure drinking water facility.
He said, this government is committed for protection and giving honour to women and as a result of which 33% seats in the assembly were reserved for women.
Yogi said Tripura became a remarkable name of development where new roads are being built, new schools are coming up, students are getting scholarship, and new hospitals are raising their heads and there is planning for every people.
He said there was time in Uttar Pradesh, when people were deprived of governance, but after the double engine government was established there people have started getting the fruits of development.
Yogi also appealed to the people to visit Ram mandir in Ayodhya, which would be completed soon. FD JK
