IIT Jammu set to host grand finale of Smart India Hackathon 2024 (Software Edition) from Dec 11

In Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu is set to host the grand finale of the Smart India Hackathon 2024 (Software Edition) from December 11. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that thirty teams from across the country will compete to tackle critical cybersecurity challenges posed by the National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Centre. Three teams from IIT Jammu will also participate in this prestigious event, representing the institute at nodal centres in Karnataka, Delhi, and Guwahati.
The 7th edition of this nationwide initiative, organized by the Ministry of Education, will be virtually inaugurated by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. With 51 nodal centres across India, IIT Jammu plays a key role in fostering innovation and problem-solving.
