Husband organises marriage of her wife at Birchandramanu

Agartala, April 24 (FD) Like a Bolywood drama, a man organised a marriage between his wife and her paramour in a local temple at Birchandra Manu.

The 33-year old driver, living at Birchandramanu village formalized the marriage and hundreds of people witnessed the event.

Police said they did not interfere as the matter was consensual.

27-year old Jhuma was in love with a vegetable vendor for about eight years and it was a matter of high tension in the family of Nayan Saha, the husband.

Saha took the decision after he witnessed his wife in a compromising situation and formalized the marriage on Wednesday last.

The marriage ceremony took place in full community knowledge in the temple and after the marriage the bride went to her new home with her two children.

Police said, Nayan used to torture his wife due to the extramarital relationship, but as there was no complaint to police they also did not interfere. FD JK
