HM Amit Shah hails BSF role during Operation Sindoor; Says, world is praising bravery of Indian Armed Forces

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that Operation Sindoor is the answer to the Pahalgam attack, and today the world is praising the bravery of the Indian Armed Forces.

Mr. Shah credited the successful Operation Sindoor to the government’s strong political will, accurate information from the intelligence agencies and the amazing display of lethality from the Armed Forces.

Addressing the Border Security Force (BSF) Investiture Ceremony in New Delhi today, Mr Shah said that the BSF and the armed forces have showcased great valour and the true power of defence in India’s retaliatory action against Pakistan. The Home Minister added that Pakistan proved it sponsors terrorism when it considered India’s attacks on the terrorists as an attack on itself.

Mr Shah noted that when the Pakistani army tried to attack India’s civilian bases and military establishments, the Indian army gave a strong reply and demonstrated their firepower by attacking Pakistani air bases.

Mr Shah added that India has been facing Pakistan-sponsored terrorism for many decades. He highlighted that in 2014, when Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, the  Uri attack had happened, and a befitting reply was given to the terrorists by entering the terrorist hideouts for the first time by doing surgical strikes.
