Hindus protest in Agartala against Bangladesh Anti-Hindu violence

Agartala, Dec 2 (FD) Hundreds of Hindus on Monday demonstrated before the Bangladesh Visa office and Agartala check post demanding immediate stopping of oppression on Hindus in Bangladesh, stopping of destructions on temples and immediate resignation of the prime advisor, Muhammad Yunus.
Two delegations, one from Hindu Sangharsha Samity (HSS), a wing of Rastriya Swayam Sevak Sangha (RSS) and the other, Yuva Congress, the youth wing of opposition Congress demonstrated before the Agartala check post.
Those who gathered before the Bangladesh Visa office also burnt down the flag hoisted before the office.
BJP Vice-president f ruling BJP, Subal Bhowmik alleged that what is happening in Bangladesh is unprecedented and what the anti-Hindu forces were doing is not acceptable and the minority Hindus are now a united force elsewhere in other countries.
“We demand that the noble prize given to Md Yunus is taken back and demanding to the Bangladesh government that attack and oppression is stopped on Hindus there. We also demand that Chinmoy Krishna Das, who was arrested arbitrarily is freed without any delay”, Bhowmik told reporters.
The Yuva Congress workers, who gathered before the main gate of the Agartala check post also shouted slogans against Md. Yunus and demanded immediate stopping of the onslaughts on minority Hindus in neighboring Bangladesh.
They alleged that ever since the new government came to power by ousting the elected Hasina government, all troubles started.
They also demanded stopping of temples, protections of priests and Hindu monks from the torture of the Islamists. FD JK
