Hindu group demands deployment of UN Peace keeping forces in Bangladesh

Agartala, Jan 3 (FD) Global Bengali Hindu Coalition (GBHC) today demanded deployment of UN Peace Keeping Force in Bangladesh to protect the Hindus and the other minority groups, who are being tortured by the Jihadist at the indulgence of the Government headed by Md Yunus.
Pushpita Gupta, a representative of the GBHC in a press conference held at the Agartala Press Club today alleged that the Hindus are being tortured by the Muslims severely after Sheikh Hasina, the former Prime Minister of the neighbouring country had taken refuge in India on August 5 last.
Gupta is the UK based representative of the Hindu group, who are campaigning in different parts of the gob against the torture.
“Bangladesh is now a pro-jihadist group and the administration was indulging in torture on Hindus and other minorities including of the Chakmas and other Jumma community tribes. The Hindus had never lived in peace, which fought bravely against the Pakistani marauding militaries during the liberation war in 1971 “, she told reporters.
The Hindu business people were looted, many women were raped and the Chinmay Prabhu Das, a Hindu monk was not given bail.
Another representative of the GBHC, Sushanta Das alleged that the Hindus are being tortured only because they are Hindus and the limitless terror unleashed by the Jihadists has turned Bangladesh into a terrorist group.He demanded that deployment of UN peacekeeping forces to protect Hindus and other minorities, the use of drones in Hindu-dominated areas to ensure their safety, and complete rehabilitation of displaced minorities.
