High-level Committee constituted to review the progress of Tripura Shantiniketan Medical College and the proposed hospital

Agartala, Oct 25 (FD) A high-level committee has been formed to oversee the various facilities, including infrastructure development, academic activities, hospital construction, and patient care services at Tripura Santiniketan Medical College and the proposed affiliated hospital at Ranirkhamar, Madhuban, in West Tripura, as per National Medical Commission guidelines. Sri Kiran Gitte, Secretary of the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Tripura, issued a notification in this regard.
This seven-member committee will be chaired by the Director of Health Services, Government of Tripura, while the Director of Medical Education will serve as the convener. Other members of the committee include the Principals of Agartala Government Medical College, Tripura Medical College & Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital, and Agartala Government Dental College, along with the Superintending Engineer of PWD, Agartala Circle, and the Accounts Officer from the Directorate of Health Services, Government of Tripura.
The committee is tasked with submitting an initial report within 30 days and will continue to submit reports every six months until the National Medical Commission grants final affiliation for the MBBS program at Tripura Santiniketan Medical College. PRESS RELEASE
