Govt will allocate space for RFI in Water Sports Complex near Ramgarhtal to establish a world-class rowing sports center: UP CM

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that his government will allocate space for the Rowing Federation of India (RFI) in the Water Sports Complex near Ramgarhtal to establish a world-class rowing sports center. He said that efforts will be undertaken to expand water sports opportunities across major lakes throughout the state.

The Chief Minister was speaking at the prize distribution ceremony of the 25th Sub Junior National Rowing Championship in Gorakhpur on Saturday. Teams from Punjab and Maharashtra won the titles for Girls and Boys categories, respectively, however, Maharashtra was declared the overall winner of the championship.
