Govt. adopts Zero tolerance policy to create a Drug-free state: CM

Agartala, May 08 (FD) The Tripura state government has adopted a zero tolerance policy to make the state drug-free, according to Chief Minister, Dr. Manik Saha.
Dr. Saha said in a press conference on Saturday that the youth of the state have been destroyed by drugs for the past few decades, and the government is committed to creating a drug-free Tripura as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a drug-free India
To achieve this goal, the state government has formed a Special Task Force against drug addiction, and the police administration is also doing commendable work. The state government is not just talking about its commitment to this cause but is also taking action to create a drug-free Tripura.
The state government's initiative has been widely welcomed by the people of Tripura, and there is a general sense of optimism about the future.
