Governor stresses education and youth for Tripura’s bright future

Agartala, Apr 12 (FD) In a address highlighting the state’s developmental vision, Indrasena Reddy Nallu emphasized that Tripura is steadily progressing on the path of growth, driven by its rich cultural heritage and energetic youth population. The Governor was speaking at the inauguration of the Parents’ Day program held at Holy Cross School Agartala on Sunday evening.
Addressing students, parents, and educators, the Governor underscored the importance of education, discipline, and social harmony, stating that the state government continues to prioritize these core values. He praised institutions like Holy Cross School for playing a crucial role in strengthening the educational foundation and shaping responsible citizens.
Highlighting the role of youth, he remarked that students are the future of both Tripura and the nation. He encouraged them to remain focused on academics, maintain humility, respect parents and teachers, and actively contribute to society. He also urged students to engage in sports and creative activities to develop teamwork and leadership qualities.
The event witnessed the presence of Alok Kumar Chakravarty, Abraham Kochupurackal, Lumen Monteiro, and Kamesh Debnath, among others. The program began with a welcome address by Principal Father Jilson Tom and concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice Principal Father Renge George.
