Governor Meets Haryana Students Visiting Tripura During Yuva Sangam

Agartala, May 24 (FD) A delegation of students from Haryana, currently visiting Tripura under the Yuva Sangam Phase VI programme, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Tripura, Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, at Lok Bhavan on Saturday.
The visit has been organised as part of the “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” initiative aimed at strengthening cultural understanding and national integration among youths from different states of the country. The educational exchange programme is being jointly conducted by National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra and National Institute of Technology Agartala.
During the interaction, the visiting students shared their experiences and observations from their ongoing tour of Tripura. They spoke about the state’s cultural richness, traditions, hospitality, and unique heritage that they witnessed during the programme.
Addressing the students, Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu encouraged them to gain a deeper understanding of Tripura’s diverse culture and historical legacy. He also highlighted the importance of such exchange programmes in promoting unity, mutual respect, and stronger ties among the youth of different regions.
The meeting was attended by Director of NIT Agartala, Professor Sharat Kumar Patra, along with faculty members from both NIT Kurukshetra and NIT Agartala. The information was shared through an official statement issued from Lok Bhavan. FD SB
