Government meets the officials of rural and urban deployment departments

Agartala, Nov 21 (FD) Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu on Monday reviewed the activities of the state rural development wings of the state and advised the concerned officials  to identify the weaker sections of the society and prioritise developmental works for them.
The meeting was held at Rajbhavan, which was attended by Secretary of the Rural Development, Sandeep Rathore, Urban Development Secretary, Abhishek Singh, Commissioner of the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC), Sailesh Kumar Yadav and CEO of the Rural Livelyhood Mission, Dr Brahmit Kaur .
The departments should identify the weaker sections and provide them jobs under government schemes, shelters under Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) buildup roads in the rural areas.
It seems that the governor is unlike many governors and he would not seat idle and review government works, so that weaker sections of the society are delivered with the fruits of developments in government schemes.  FD JK
