Government lays importance in upgrading tourist’s spots in the state, Minister

Agartala, Dec 5 (FD) Tripura Information and Cultural affairs minister Sushanta Chowdhury has said that government laid maximum importance in developing and upgrading the state’s tourists spots considering its potential in the state.
Speaking on the occasion of Butterfly festival-2022 in Agartala’s heritage park at the initiative of the forest departmentsaid, “It is our priority to upgrade the tourist spots in the sate ; we have stunning tourist spots like Neer Mahal, Chhabimura, Narikel Kunja , Pilak and Unakoti all of which are being upgraded to draw more and more tourists” .
Chowdhury further mentioned that the tourist’s spots in the state have huge potential to attract the international tourists, which was one of the reasons to upgrade tourist’s spots.
The dignitaries present in the festival had released many butterflies in the sky as part of the inaugural festivity marking a joyous beginning.
Explaining the significance of the festival Sushanta Chowdhury said that various departments of the state government organise annual festivals as part of promotional activities as well as to provide joy to the people.
Laying importance on preserving the butterfly, Chowdhury said, the life span of a butterfly is only 20 to 30 days and provides joy to people with their colourful bodies. FD JK
