French Open Badminton: Indian Shuttlers PV Sindhu, Kidambi Srikanth and HS Prannoy to begin their singles matches today

In French Open Badminton, Indian players, PV Sindhu, Kidambi Srikanth and HS Prannoy will begin their singles challenge today. Sindhu will face Canada’s Michelle Li in the opening round of women’s singles. While Prannoy will be up against China’s Lu Guang Zu, Srikanth will take on Chou Tien Chen, of Chinese Taipei.

Yesterday, In Men's singles, Lakshya Sen emerged victorious against Kanta Tsuneyama of Japan in the opening round. In another singles match Priyanshu Rajawat lost to No. 1 Viktor Axelsen of Denmark in the round of 32. 

Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty have entered the second round of Men's doubles beating Malaysia’s Ong Yew Sin and Teo Ee Yi in straight games. The world Number one men’s doubles pair beat Malaysian pair in the round of 32 yesterday.

In Women's doubles category, Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand beat compatriots Ashwini Ponnappa and Tanisha Castro in a tough fight to cruise into the second round. The duo of Jolly and Gopichand emerged victorious in the opening match.
