The 2025 Freestyle Chess Grand Slam kicked off at Weissenhaus in Baltic Coast, Germany yesterday. After Round 5, Fabiano Caruana is leading the points table with 4.5 points, followed by Javokhir Sindarov.

Indian Grand Master D Gukesh is on the sixth spot with just 2 points. With 4 more rounds remain to be played, the top 8 players will qualify to the Knockout section.
