Four Bangladeshi nationals and five Indians apprehended by BSF in Tripura

Agartala, Mar 3 (FD) Four Bangladeshi nationals and five of their Indian accomplices have been apprehended by BSF in two separate incidents in Tripura, sources in BSF said on Monday.
Acting on a tip-off, a patrolling party raided Dhaniabari, a remote tribal hamlet near the Chittagong Hill Tract (CHT) at Nutanbazr area of Gomati district last evening and saw that four persons were crossing the International border.
When they crossed the border, BSF managed to apprehend four persons including two women and two men, who confirmed that two of them, who are women are from India and the rest two are from Bangladesh.
“Daduni Chakma & Nandini Chakama are resident of Nutan Bazar, in Gomati district while Bimal Chakma & Sushil Chakma are resident of Khagracheri district in Bangladesh”, BSF said.
In another input based operation in the area of Dyke VIII in Nutanbazr at about 1730 hrs, patrol party observed unusual movement of five persons and apprehended them while crossing the IB. Later two of them were identified as BD nationals and rest as Indian.
Apprehended persons are Mongkrajai Marma and Brisha Moni chakma both are from khagracheri in Bangladesh while Punna lal chakma, Twoingnu Mog & Skiro chakma are from Gandachera in Dhalai district. BSF said interrogation is on. FD JK
