Former Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Raghuram Rajan on Wednesday joined Congress top leader and Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhis mega nationwide march, dubbed as Bharat Jodo Yatra, in Rajasthan.
Rajan, a critic of the Modi governments controversial demonetisation move, joined the yatra at Sawai Madhopur in the Congress ruled state.
In some of the videos which are currently trending on social media, Rahul was seen discussing with Rajan while walking in the rally.

Snubbing Rajans participation in the yatra, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) IT cell head Amit Malviya tweeted, Raghuram Rajan, former RBI Governor, a Congress appointee, joining Rahul Gandhis Bharat Jodo Yatra is not a surprise.
He fancies himself as the next Manmohan Singh. Just that his commentary on Indias economy should be discarded with disdain. It is coloured and opportunistic

Rahuls mega march, which began in south India, witnessed the participation of actors Swara Bhasker, Riya Sen, boxer Vijender Singh, activist Medha Patkar.
The yatra is set to conclude in Kashmir next year.
