Election Commission suspends three more employees in Tripura for violations of MCC

Agartala, Apr 9 (FD) Tripura Government has suspended three more employees following instructions from the Election Commission of India for violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC), official sources said.
The suspended employees include a Jawan of Tripura State Rifles (TSR), Kishan Debbarma, a government teacher, Parth Pratim Debroy and a staff of the state education department, Rasu Chowdhury.
Earlier on April 4, the Commission had suspended a Special Police Officer (SPO) Suman Hossain in the West Tripura Parliamentary constituency for participating in election campaigns.
Official sources said the charges of violation of the election model code of conduct (MCC) lodged against the three employees were found authentic after an enquiry and recommendation of the election department. FD JK
