Eid-ul-Fitr observed in Tripura with religious fervour

Agartala, Apr 23 (FD) Along with the other parts of the country, Eid-ul-Fitr was observed in Tripura with devotion and traditional fervor on Saturday.
Along with the other parts of the state, thousands of Muslims gathered at the Gedu Mia Masjid here and offered prayers.
The Imam of the mosque Maulana Abdul Rehman conducted the prayers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Interacting with the media, he said, “Eid-ul-Fitr is very important occasion as it is being celebrated after 30 days of fasting which is conveys a message of peace, brotherhood, humanity and love.”
Along with Agartala, the Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated in various Masjids across the state on Saturday.
Muslims around the world celebrate this historic event with great enthusiasm and reverence which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha conveyed good wishes to Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion
In a social media post he wrote, “Best wishes for Eid-ul-Fitr to all Muslim brothers and sisters.” FD PD
