Earth under the feet of BJP is eroding: Sarkar

Agartala, Feb 4 (FD) Prominent Marxist leader and former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar today said that the ruling BJP was trembling in fear and earth under their feet is shattered after they received the information of seat sharing between Congress and CPI-M.

“We will fight together with Congress; we will fight for 47 seats and Congress will fight for 13 seats. After hearing this, the BJP is trembling and earth under their feet is shattered”, Sarkar said while addressing a public rally at Kathalia market in Sipahijala district.

Sarkar alleged that in last five year the BJP did not do anything good to deliver to people and now the activists of Congress, who joind the saffron p-arty had also escaped and who is there to save them now.

He was speaking in support of the Left Front candidate Kaushik Chanda, who was the secretary of the Kathaliya Bazaar committee, who is contesting as a CPI-M candidate.

“There was attempt on his life 17 times by them. They were wearing black clothes on the face and tried to kill him who managed to flee anyway. These people now have no right to seek votes”, the veteran communist leader said. FD SB JK
