Delhi Development Authority Allocates Land for new Tripura Bhavan in Dwarka"

Agartala, Oct 04 (FD) In a significant development, the Delhi Development Authority Institutional Land Branch has officially allocated 2,930 square meters of land for the construction of the new Tripura Bhavan in New Delhi. This marks a crucial step towards establishing a dedicated space for the state of Tripura in the nation's capital.

This decision follows Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha's persistent efforts, including discussions with Delhi Lt. Governor VK Saxena on September 15. The Chief Minister's request for suitable land allocation to strengthen Tripura's presence in New Delhi has now been granted.

The new Tripura Bhavan is expected to serve as a focal point for showcasing the state's rich heritage, culture, and administrative functions. It reflects the collaborative efforts between Tripura and Delhi to create a hub for cultural and administrative activities, deepening the ties between the state and the national capital. FD SB
