Delegation of 10323 terminated teachers’ stage demonstration in front of Education Director’s office

Agartala, Sept 14 (FD) A delegation of 10,323 terminated teachers staged demonstration inside the School Education directors’ office in Shiksha Bhavan here on Wednesday.

The delegation demonstrated inside the office chamber of the Education director, they were forced by police to go out of the room.

According to agitating former teachers, as per the Education department’s officials, the Annexure-I was created by the department, not by the court. He said, the Education department wrongly implemented the court order and the Education department is responsible for death of 140 among the 10,323 terminated teachers.

Huge number of terminated teachers assembled near the Shiksha Bhavan despite huge rain. The administration deployed adequate security personnel in front of the Shiksha Bhavan.

The terminated teachers were waiting in front of the Shiksha Bhavan to get a solution on the issue till the last information poured in.

Meanwhile, many of the terminated teachers attempted to rejoin their service in various schools over the past one month. Finally, on September 8 last, the School Education director issued a notification asking the headmasters of the schools not to allow the 10323 teachers in taking classes or sign in attendance register.
