Cultural presentations by tribes of Nagaland enthralled spectators at Hornbill Festival

On the penultimate day of the 25th Hornbill Festival today, cultural presentations by various tribes of Nagaland enthralled the spectators at the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.
In the morning session, Chief Justice of the Sikkim High Court Justice, Biswanath Sommader, Director of Global Partnerships at Meta, India, Paras Sharma, and Executive Director & State Head of Indian Oil AOD, Guwahati, Rajesh Nambair, and other dignitaries attended the cultural event.
Member of the Union Public Service Commission, Sanjay Verma, and General Officer Commanding 3 Corps Lieutenant General Abhijit S Pendharkar graced the afternoon session.
The extravaganza featured diverse performances from all Naga tribes, as they showcased their rich traditions through dances, folk songs, and demonstrations of various traditional practices such as agricultural work, fire making, headhunting reenactments, and indigenous games and rituals.
Meanwhile, the Naga Chef Season 11 culminated today at Kisama with Merennungsang Lemtur winning the title. He walked away with a cash prize of three lakh rupees.
