Agartala, Nov 24 (FD) The secretary of the CPIM state committee, Jitendra Chaudhury, declared that the ruling BJP is recognizing the approaching end of their tenure and urged the public to actively participate in removing the BJP from both the state and the centre.
Addressing a gathering at the Circuit House organised by seven organisations, including the Tripura Scheduled Caste Coordination Society and the Khet Mazdoor Union, Chaudhury encouraged strong public engagement in eliminating the BJP from both the state and the centre.
Chaudhury criticized the BJP government for issues such as delayed wages for working-class individuals, non-payment of dues to employees and police personnel, food shortages among tribals, and alleged financial mismanagement by leaders.
He expressed concern about desperate situations, stating, "The people of Tripura are now witnessing mothers selling their children, resorting to self-harm by consuming poison due to a lack of food for their children."
Additionally, the CPIM state secretary and central committee member, Jiten Chowdhury, predicted the fall of the central BJP government in the 2024 Loksabha polls and the state government soon thereafter. He called for a united struggle against the BJP government at both levels to save the country from disaster. FD SB
