Council for Leather Exports to organise DILEX 2025 on 20-21 Feb in New Delhi

The Council for Leather Exports (CLE) will organise the Delhi International Leather Expo (DILEX) 2025 on the 20th and 21st of this month in New Delhi. DILEX is a B2B event designed to provide a platform for manufacturers and exporters to showcase their latest collections, innovations, and capabilities to international buyers seeking viable sourcing alternatives. It aims to enhance exports, create employment, and fortify India’s presence in global markets, aligning with the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives.

The Council targets to achieve 47 billion dollars by 2030, with a special focus on footwear and leather exports. Talking to the media, joint secretary of the Department of Commerce Vimal Anand has said that the Union Budget 2025 has delivered a much-needed boost to the leather and footwear sector by enhancing credit access, rationalising duties, and maintaining key policy frameworks. He added that more than 200 exhibitors are expected to join the Leather Expo this year.
