Agartala, Jan 6 (FD) A controversy has been sparked off following the allegation of bomb attacks on the house of Tapan Shil, a leader of the opposition CPI-M and his submission of an FIR in the Airport police station in West Tripura district.
When Shil, a resident of Ananga Nagar alleged that on Sunday, a group of belligerent BJP workers hurled a bomb at his house and there were also damages there, the local unit of BJP said that the allegation was false and fabricated.
A group of BJP workers led by the former MLA alleged that they rushed to the spot after hearing the sounds of bombs and found that it was just a cracker and signs of marks of the cracker were found on the roads and not in the house of Shil.
However, the matter is in the hands of the police, who are investigating the case. FD JK
