CM urges commoners to take party membership

Agartala, Nov 28 (FD) Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday said that membership drive of the ruling BJP is on and everyone in the state are invited to take part and collect the membership.

He said so while addressing the weeklong statewide motor bike rally of ‘Yuba Morcha’, under the banner of ‘Namo Yatra’, which concluded today in front of the Rabindra Shata Varshiki Bhawan. 

“We are to counter two forces – the CPI-M and the Congress. The Left Front is a party of murder and terrorism. On the other hand the Congress is a party of unruliness. So, we must remain alert about the both parties”, Chief Minister said.

‘Yuba Morcha’ workers converged on the space in front of the Rabindra Shata Varshiki Bhawan early in the afternoon. 

Dignitaries present were the state ‘Yuba Morcha’ president and MLA Sushanta Deb and the Morcha general secretary and MLA Shambhu Lal Chakma. 

Chief Minister said, “our party believes that the country is first, second is the party and the last is the individual”.

He also thanked the gathering for organizing such a movement from Sabroom to Dharmanagar and added that this kind of rallies would strengthen the party. FD JK
